Our Company Signs Industry-University-Research Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Nantong University

On the morning of April 18, our company signed an Industry-University-Research Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Nantong University. Hua Liang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Nantong University, and Shi Haowen, Vice President of BBSD Holding B.V., attended the event.

On behalf of Nantong University, Hua Liang extended a warm welcome to Shi Haowen and his delegation, and introduced the university's development history, school-running philosophy, school-running characteristics and achievements made in recent years. He stated that Nantong University has always regarded serving the local economic and social development as an important mission, actively providing talent and intellectual support as well as scientific and technological innovation support for local development. It has also been continuously optimizing its cooperation model with multinational enterprises and promoting local technological innovation and industrial upgrading by integrating high-quality global resources. He expressed the expectation that both the university and the enterprise will further deepen cooperation, continuously expand the scope of cooperation, and work together to create a sound situation of win-win cooperation.

Shi Haowen introduced the company's situation, noting that as a wholly owned subsidiary of Jord Oil & Gas Systems B.V., a Dutch marine engineering equipment enterprise, the company has developed into a world-leading provider of design, procurement and construction services for floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) topside modules, with customers in nearly 100 countries around the world. He expressed the expectation that both parties will focus on the fields of marine equipment manufacturing and new energy and carry out comprehensive industry-university-research cooperation in terms of talent exchange and interaction, joint research projects, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and co-construction of innovation platforms.

At the meeting, Xu Yiming, Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, and Lu Liangjun, General Manager of our company, signed the industry-University-Research Strategic Cooperation Agreement on behalf of both the university and the enterprise. Jorik Bik, Vice President, introduced the company's FPSO projects in the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and other countries. Dr. Li Zhen from the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation presented the achievements of Nantong University in the fields of ship and marine engineering, new energy, etc.
